I must admit I'm not an expert in macro photography.. And I must confess that I'm a bit bored by the apparent lack of fantasy in the choice of subject.
But this shot has caught my attention.
First of all, I love the colors. The soft pink tones are perfect to underline the red button and the purple zone behind it. I love the way that red pops out of the image. And I love that you chose buttons! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/lā¦ " width="19" height="19" alt="
The composition is well balanced: the subject in one of the third of the image, and the line of the feather leads the eye of the watcher. The focus is perfect.

Beautiful photo! You've really made this unique with the different colors of buttons, and the way we can see little stars in the background even. The feathers are a great touch, too!
First of all, the colors are fantastic! The soft pinks really contrast with the darker colors of the buttons, especially the red. I love how there's a darker shade of purple in the background as well - it matches with the purple button nicely.
The shallow DoF is important to this photo because it not only adds more depth, but it draws our attention in to the buttons right away.
I'm not sure about the blue button there..it doesn't seem to match as well with the rest of the photo, but that could just be me. I can't find any other improvements, though!

I love how soft and light the feathers are with the buttons--and the red one really does pop. The pale streak of blue beneath the buttons is also cool, really draws your eye.

I really like the colors in this piece. It's the one that stood out the most to be in your gallery. The soft, flowy feathers compared to the hard, smooth lines of the buttons gives a great contrast. I'm not a big fan of the addition of the glittery stars in the edges of the buttons because I feel like it gets a little too girly when otherwise it looks like a dreamscape.
I feel like an interesting picture also could have been made if you'd taken the shot facing the buttons from the side, because then it'd be a bit harder to tell what they are.
I also think that if you could crop it so that the buttons are even further from the center it would look even better.
Behind the buttons the feathers form a line that looks like a wave, which I think is really interesting... I don't know if that could be intensified or not, but I think it gives the photo nice flow towards the buttons.
Anyways, nice shot and nice gallery!
