I met someone once who wouldn't concede that I grew up in the country until I pointed out that I had a street named after my family. Well, here it is. It was meant to be Brown Ave, but no-one was home when the streetname people came by, so they went to my grandparent's house, which on the property opposite. And so it became Heard Ave (though they took off the 'e' on the new sign...GRR!)
