Description This is Fern Spring in Yosemite. It is a small natural spring in Yosemite Valley near the Pohono Bridge, it flows into the Merced River. After you cross the bridge it is on the right hand side and there is a sign. The spring is such a nugget because I have never seen but a few people stop there. Very few people understand the value of it.

The water is about as pure as water can be... ph and tds tests will account for this... and it's icy cold. This is where those in the know fill their water bottles before hikes or before the 3-4 day climb on El Capitan. It's just about the best "tasting" water I've ever had.

now I am thirsty.
I love the colors in this photo and the flowing water looks mystical. Mother Nature provides us with the liquid that will not only replenish our thirst but our spirits, too. Maybe it's best that not EVERYONE knows of these areas...they would destroy it

Thank you... I agree. It is nice having this basically be unknown. Better than any bottled water on the market.
