Description
Jacob Seed never liked the desert much.
(this one's pretty gritty, morbid and kind of sketchy and semi-finished, so be warned, but I had it laying around for a bit ~ it's basically a younger Jacob as a soldier lost in an Iraqi desert during a rising sandstorm, leaving a disemboweled, bloody trail of flesh for the beasts that follow him across the dunes and feasting on what remains of poor Miller's heart as a "snack on the go", looking determined to get to base and simply survive and return back home no matter what it takes)

Oh, this is great, Alme, nightmarish and haunting. Love the vacant, haunted look on Jacob's face and the blood stains all over him.
Jacob proved something of a surprise showstealer for me. His story about himself and Miller actually topped Vaas's Definition of Insanity Speech (in my view).

Yeah, I guess the unfinished and minimalistic feel does add to the spooky factor, unintentionally. Which is very, very good.
I expected Jacob to be the least dynamic \ interesting of the siblings, but he proved me quite wrong actually ~ pleasant surprise, I must say.

Woooow that's so great Alme. This is so powerful, terrifying yet sad. My stomach twitches and my heart aches when Jacob told me his story. Because it feels real. You know what I mean? It could have been the story of plenty of real soldiers. Anyway, perfect piece of art, we needed a young soldier Jacob <3

Jacob's backstory was pretty tragic actually, even though he delivers it as (I feel) more of an intimidation tactic then an actual confession.
Also, the fact that he stood up to their parents and took most of the beatings in order to distract from his younger brothers is just heartbreaking.
Hard not to sympathize with his character in the end ~ if anything, I've grown quite fond of him ~ and yes, you can expect more soldier Jacob too.
