Thanks. The rain had not yet hit shore yet. About 5 ins after this shot, it rained buckets. Luckily my camera is weather sealed. Thanks again.

i sat up on my roof yesterday to capture some of the lighting, and just moments after setting up the tripod and all, it rained so heavily that i simply had to run my a$$ off...
last time i got lucky (captured the lighting hitting the burj), not this time.

I know what you mean. They are quite tricky to shoot. You either get there to late or it starts pouring which is a nightmare. If it is not windy, an umbrella does wonders. Take care.
