Yea yea yea, I love this sassy punk ass slice of bae, so of course I was gonna do some fanart sooner or later!Didn't know it was gonna be this tho... I just took a look at Peridot's character sheet and it REALLY made me wanna have a go at those snazzy limb enhancers! This was bordering juuust enough on robotics to make me mildly uncomfortable for a moment
Yall know I have the hardest time drawing technical stuff...The first set is based on those awesome things that people with amputated legs use to run in the Paralympics. Those things are so cool! Next set is based on equine anatomy. I mostly made that one because I liked the idea of her limb enhancers having a very skeletal design. They go well with those claw hands... But I think I like the first one best personally c:
Now then. If I can find both the courage and the time I might actually do another attempt and go full steampunk on her! I can't get the thought of an awesome steampunk Peridot out of my head. I'm totally gonna make it my headcanon. Mhmm.

I think the first set of robo-legs are my favourite too. The other ones are certainly cool looking though and a very interesting idea. Can I just say you've drawn everything "slightly robotic" in these drawings amazingly well? BECAUSE YOU HAVE. It's pretty mindblowing really.

I'll add it to my to-draw-list C: Although (as always) there are quite a few things in front of it xD Firstly I've gotta draw a Seadra as my last submission for the pokΓ©mon thing, I'm trying to wrap up that pilot that I'm actually getting paid for, and of course the annual Khoomanari painting isssssssss still a sketch >O>; That thing has been a sketch since December, oh boy... Well. I suppose maybe turning that tradition into a 1Β½-year thing instead of a 1-year thing would be okay. Just hope I can at least get to it after the pilot is done, yayayayaya....

Well, I'm almost done with the clean-up and that's going pretty fast. After that I just need colouring, simple shading and probably a pile of touch-ups, but all of that should be relatively simple. Maybe give it 4-6 weeks, I think? I've been optimistic about dates before tho xD

Probably just gonna be shown to the tv-people when my boss tries to seal the deal. May or may not air on tv, but who knows C: And screw watching it online, I'll just send it to you as soon as I get permission
