I love this image. This is the third time I've looked at it in the past couple days, I am unsure how to verbalize all my feelings about it.

Such a heavy piece both visually and with thought. I am sad when I see this, the building and the tractor I feel should be used, but life was worn them, so they rest.

Sorry I'm describing so poorly. How about I say this.

Thanks so much ,walking on that old homestead down by the creek certainly brings out emotions in me.. It is sad that family farms are disappearing...Love your watercolours and have added you to my watch list

Thank you for the watch I know what you mean how the farms are changing. Even since I was little, many houses and trees were just bulldozed and became farmland. Fewer people live in the country and the mega farms slowly get bigger. We still know where the good stuff is though.

Thanks so much for your comments ....lots of old abandoned homesteads in this part of the world ...droughts ,long cold winters and poor grain prices have taken their toll over the years.

Its a beautiful old homestead just behing the trees there is a creek flowing...a nice place to rest if the mosquitos dont carry you away in the summer ..
