I love this! I cried so hard for the poor dears when winter came. Dash was so broken up about it. Finally their reunited and in such a beautiful little spot. Not that the happy friends have noticed yet. Hehe. So sweet.

Given how much this episode seemed to imply what it would feel like to lose a pet without actually going that far, I can imagine full well how hard this must have been on Rainbow Dash. And I'm pretty sure that when Tank returns from hibernation, this is exactly how she's going to greet him.
You hit the nail right on the head with your expressions, and the sight of that single flower blooming amid the snow is a reminder that no matter how bleak and sad things seem, hope never truly fades--not completely.

Yeah. It was. But there is lot of mixed opinions about the episode. Spring? I hope we won't have to wait until the final. Seriously, I hope we won't have lot episodes in winter. Heh. Four season in which they were in warm season while airing in winter. Not, winter episodes while we will be in Spring and even Summer? What. The. Hell? *sigh* Whatever. We waited too long for new episodes.
There was lot of feels there. But I can't stop imagining Scootaloo in the background, crying, craving for that same love that Dash is sharing with her beloved pet.
And how come she is happy that Winter is coming anyway? Didn't she sing that she was glad it was over in "Winter Wrap-Up"? Make your choice Dash!

In the winter-wrap-up episode rainbow sings:Β "three months of winter coolness and awesome holidays"
she never said she didn't like winter, in fact from that line I assume that she enjoyed winter... however too much of a good thing and all that.. she was ready for it to be over...
I could never share her opinion though... I enjoy snowboarding too much
