Description Just a plastic clay (Super sculpey firm) dragon I am working on. Had to cut of the head, it was reallly hard working on details with the head attached.

I was planning on making the wings out of clay too, but I changed my mind and will be buying a bag or two of feathers that I will cut to appropriate sizes and superglue on ones I have hardened the model in the oven and painted it. Need to buy the feather before the oven though, so I can make approriate hols where I want them. I plan on using two colours of feathers, use them on the tail as well as the wings and probably make some sort of crest.

But gah. The website that has the feathers I want has a minimum order sum of about 20 euro. The bags of feathers, that I just need two of, one of each colour, costs about 2 euros each.

Thanks!

Paper, not the same as real feathers. I coule make wings out of steel wire. But I want to try the feather approach.
