The promised step by step of the painting QuestBig image, long process. There are some steps missing, but they mostly show setbacks. I went totally detail crazy on this painting and could've probably held back a bit some places, but that's me in a nutshell.

Do you know how long it took, overall, to finish that one? I love looking at tutorials and step by steps, but I'm always curious as to how long the pieces actually take.

I don't remember exactly how many hours it took to complete, but I worked on it over a three week period, paintingΒ few hours everyday.
...I have to get into the habit of keeping track of time as I paint

I've always been curious about it since there are so many tutorials but no one seems to talk about how long it took them to draw them, you know? It's always cool to see how long it took someone to do something.
