As I say in the CGTrader description, I designed the Spectral drop-ship using several various sources for inspiration, from the many different types of Quinn-Jet concepts for the Avengers, to real life Stealth B52 Bombers and Stealth Blackhawks and many other sci-fi dropships.
I made this to be a stealth incursion vehicle for my own project, it's supposed to cloak, get in, drop troopers in and then get out again fast, it's secondary role was to be able to provide hit and run air support at a moments notice so it acts also as a light gunship, with a light anti-personnel swivel cannon on the front and two sets of light cannons, one on the nose and one under the wings, all energy weapons. That was what was in mind when I designed it but anyone could use it for anything they imagine.
Now as far as Amalgamation is concerned I imagined that the ship you've seen Rhodey flying around in, the shitty one (well I mean it looked okay from the outside but I really lazied the interior... a lot) was just the prototype, she was testing out new stealth and energy shielding and weapons technology acquired from Covenant, Yautja and Pirate Factions which were then improved upon by herself and therefore unstable. This ship is the only human small transport ship in the galaxy with energy shields, kinetic barriers, energy weapon, and a hybrid Eezo/-Fujikawa drive all in one. It also is the most accurate Slip-Space capable ship in all of humanity, only just shy of Covenant ships. No other ship has all of that technology and it's all powered by a beefy (but small) 4 core Arc Reactor, regulated by lots and lots of Capacitors!

As you would think a ship which relies so heavily on power for all of it's systems has a lot of capacitors; capacitors are a device used to temporarily store power so that the main supply doesn't become too drained.

The ship has an individual capacitor for the engines, life support, cloaking, shields, kinetic barriers and weapons, which are being fed by a miniature quadruple core arc reactor. This ensures that when a surge of power is used, let's say, the Spectral gets hit by incoming fire and it's barriers flare up, or it needs to suddenly cloak or fire upon an enemy, it doesn't need to take power from another system like life support of the engines and should have plenty of power to run all of these systems as once; Rhodey actually calculates that at present time it could run off of just 3 cores without having to wait to recharge any of the systems, and alternate between different operating functions with only two or one cores (sacrifice cloaking and weapons for full engine speed and slip-space travel)
