When Moriarty is injured saving Holmes in my fanfic (yes, sounds weird, it's a long story though, which you should read
), he is taken to 221 B. Baker and Mrs. Hudson re-expereinces the trauma of her husband's death in her new lover's illness. When he becomes well, it is all but overwhelming for her. She holds it in but he catches her in the kitchen crying and hugs her (yes, I know, "AWWWW!" ^_^_ Lyrics are Sarah McLachlan. Read them, they add to the image's meaning/feeling.

Thanks--I just can't get over how adorable they would have been had that show gone on and the coupling been possible... ^_^ ANd i think it would have been revisited, knowing Miyazaki; he loves to have funny romances going on (check Kiki's Delivery Service--the gadget-making boy and Kiki are just oddball but perfect together!
