Here is another inked study from the summer of 2020 when I rediscovered the joy of pen and ink. For this piece I focused on maintaining a lot of white/light in this portrait, which was actually quite challenging when drawing with pure black ink. It didn't quite turn out how I was expecting, though I feel I've learnt what I needed from this attempt. The next attempt I will place more focus on creating more gradient to all for the negative to stand out a bit more.Please let me know what you think of it or any of my other work!
