its digital. i really really want to start shooting more on film but its just a money issue for me...that and everywhere around here that does develop film ruins almost every picture.

Sorry to hear that. I am lucky to have CVS pharmacies around here that do a good job for me. They have even done decent prints for me in the past before I started going to the camera shop that I go to. I have CVS do uncut negatives for me (that come out great) though since I can get them from them within an hour whereas the camera shop takes a few days due to everything else that they do.

there isnt even a good camera shop around where i live unless i wanna drive an hour into the city. its kind of depressing. my college used to have a darkroom but they canceled their photography program before i could get into it. i wonder if i could get all the chemicals from them for super cheap or just sneak in and use it

You can buy chemicals and supplies online. Your profile say that you're in Jersey. If this is correct I highly reccomend checking out adorama.com They are in NYC and I've never ordered darkroom supplies from them but the things that I have ordered from them showed up within one day (I'm in PA an hour north of Philly) and everyone I've talked to who's used them absolutely loves them too.

i'm actually waiting for a package from adorama right now. i checked out some chemicals and darkroom stuff from them and its surprisingly cheaper than i thought haha. they havent let me down yet and i've ordered from 'em 4 times. i'm also about an hour away from philly and about ten minutes from delaware. i really need to look into some shops in philly.

I don't know of any in Philly surprisingly since I love Philly. I was asking around last time I was there and nearly smacked this girl running a gallery for recommending urban outfitters to me. I'ts nice to meet somebody on here who lives somewhat closely. I'm usually comig into contact with people in Canada and Europe.

for some reason urban outfitters always has some really cool stuff...its their pricing is just ridiculous and i'd hate to go in there and have someone talk to me about the cameras just because they're "in" rather than because of their artistic potential. my teacher turned me on to this really great place in delaware i'm hoping to go check them out soon

Are you talking about Four Corners Store? If so, I highly reccomend them. I talk to Nic who runs the site, blog etc. somewhat regularly.
