I wanted to get a lensbaby! I haz no moniesss! I heard they were some of the best lenses out there. I've been dyingggggg to get a lomo camera. I posted a thread about it on this photography forum I'm a part of, and they all led back to Holga's cameras. So I guess that'll be at the top of my Christmas list! Lol

holgas come in all kinds of awesome colors now too. as much as i love the original black one i think i'm gonna have to get the cmyk one. its soooo awesome. i just found a polaroid camera from 1967 in my garage that still works..and they still make film for it so i'm dancing around about that haha

Yes omg the multicolored one is so cute! Someone who I'm watching actually posted a poll about which one she should get and the multicolored was in the lead. It just looks so retro. Too awesome. Photography is awesome! The person who made film is awesome!

did you hear about the dudes that are trying to reinvent polaroids instant film? Polaroid stopped making it last year or something which sucks cause polaroids are the bestestes but theses guys bought the film factory in the Netherlands or something and are trying to produce it again. They're champions in my book.

Omg, what poop head would seriously stop making polaroids!? They're so classic! I have a million polaroid pictures. Apparently I need to move to the Netherlands since smart people live there! I do love digital film, don't get me wrong, but just the vintage-ness of polaroids and holgas, and actually sitting in a dark room and developing your photos, nothing can beat that!

I think they did it on purpose. Because now everyone sells Polaroid cameras and people will think "crap I gotta get this now before its too late" ya know? Those jerks! My grandfather had his own darkroom but I was too young to understand anything about it haha I just knew it was awesome. Now I'm old enough to get it...just too broke hahaha.

You're absolutely right! Lmfao you crack me up. I wanna go take a whole bunch of pictures with a holga, and develop them in a dark room, just to see what it's like. The way they show it in the movies, just seems so amazing. I think it helps to connect a photographer with their work as well. The time, patience, and gentleness it takes to develop your own photos makes it allll worthwhile!

yeah but every movie I've seen where the character develops film they either see ghosts, catch on fire, or figure out how they're gonna die hahaha. You never see a dude opening photoshop to edit a picture and his house burns up

Lmfaooooo welcome to the 21st century! I love photoshop, but I have a feeling I would love a darkroom more. They actually might have one on campus. I'm hoping to take photography next semester. And they learn about old film and what not. I will have to find out.

My school just got rid of all of their photography classes. They used to have a big studio and dark room but they're idiots and took it all out. Its stupid because every school that you can transfer to after require you to take those photography classes before you can go for anything graphics related. So they just set everyone back and cost people more money to take the classes elsewhere.
