Members of the family Hominidae, along with gorillas, humans, and orangutans. Chimpanzees split from the human branch of the family about four to six million years ago. Chimpanzees are the closest living relatives to humans, being members of the tribe Hominini (along with extinct species of subtribe Hominina). Chimpanzees are the only known members of the subtribe Panina. The two Pan species split only about one million years ago.

Wonderful beasts; how'd this guy even get to that ripe old age in such a hostile world?
We treat them so badly, they know it, and they hate us with unrivaled intensity. An adult chimp is 200lb, has the strength of ten men, and has chisels for fingernails; the ones you see on the boob tube are mere babies. What ever happened to Michael Jackson's "Bubbles", he tried to rip the face and genitals off the pedo man child and payed dearly for it, because another American with more money than brains wants what they want.

This is really cool. I could do without those soulless eyes, though.

Out of curiosity, did you purposefully put what looks like a human face on his chest?
