Something I did for my blog.An animated gif I worked feverishly the last two days on. This is literally the first attempt at animation I’ve ever done. And while it won’t get me hired at Disney, I’m still quite proud of it.

Great animation. Hey, this may sound a bit dumb, but what technique do you use to make the lines move and change ever so subtlely between the frames? Like how for the first few frames, Dash's book seems to be wobbling a bit, and the lines are different. Do you just redraw them, tracing over the previous frame, only changing the position of the new line a little? or do you redraw the whole frame or something? I'm a bit of an aspiring animator, and I'd really like to know how to do that.

Yeah, I pretty much redrew each frame, using the last frame as a guideline.
But really, take what advice I give with a grain of salt. I have literally no animation training and this was made with a lot of guesswork.
