Description
This is my favorite scene. Never fails to give me shivers.Jack's proportions are wrong, but I couldn't lengthen his arms and legs anymore without blocking the angel's face. But, considering that I was surprised I managed to draw it from this angle anyway, I'm not too disappointed with the inaccuracies.
According to the gallery director, this isn't pixel art. So I'm moving it.

Ch'feeeh!? not pixel art? maybe its rather high resolution for the base standard, somewhere between 8 and 16 bit, but who cares? ...or at least, who cares that really matters?
*sighs* don't let snarky perfectionists and critics get your goat... In fact, the fact that this item has become a daily deviation tells me you did considerably better than this gallery director thought...
I myself am plotting to make an action platformer in the future... it will take time, and may never come to fruition, but I tell you that in my minds eye, I imagine the graphics in my game approximating what you have made here, which is to say pixelwork with a high enough resolution to add a more... shall we say organic touch?
This picture really made me smile, and gave me hope on my little dream project, so yeah, thanks for sharing.
And yes, you have captured the essence of a moment from a movie filled with great moments... wonderful work

In a response to the reasoning of the DD, I have to disagree. The dithering in the background is relatively uneven, and the bright contrast makes is stand out too much. The lighting seems to make no sence, and is pillow shaded. It also does not really have a night time feel, if that's even what is implied. The picture as a whole could be more smooth as well.
