that's nice to hear.
what you find in my painting that you can say it's impressionism?
Because I don't really sure that I know this type of art movement. :S

Hmm... I think it's because the impression of the light seems more important than portraying the shapes clearly and accurately, as in an impressionist study. Here's a famous example from Monet: [link]

Yea I see what you talking about. and I know this painting of Monet, actually I was in his museum in Giverny before couple months.
Usually I love doing clearly details and everything, but it's ok it came out like this

I don't understand it
It looks like the sky is pouring between two forests(?) not mountains and into a ravine =/

hmmm :S
yea I thought it will be hard to understand what's going on here.
it's just a river, waterfall between two mountains in the jungle.
anyway thanks for commenting
Cas.

ohh, I can see it now.
About Impressionism: [link]
I understand it to be temporary effects of light and shadow on a scene.

Wow this looks nice!
I think some other elements would be beneficial here, like some people or fragments of ruins.
It looks good this way, but maybe a bit too empty.
Keep it up...!

Yea you right about that,
but sometimes I have feeling that I just want to finish with it, and start another painting. or is just laziness
So thanks for the critique,
Cas.

Yeah, me too!
But for that reason i often delay the upload of a new pic for a few days, because i might want to add something later on when iยดm not fed up with it anymore
