DescriptionAnother one where the horse came before the background. And one of the first backgrounds I'd ever done without a reference so I was kind of floundering in terms of color mixing ect. I think I've improved in terms of setting up better atmospheres, however, I do still like it. It's bright and happy.
I almost added wings but decided they were a little on the nose. (read: they were a failure. lol) Specstools; Photoshop CS5, Wacom tablet

I seriously fall apart at larger sizes.

Haha, true. It's easier to fake amazing detail at smaller sizes. I want to know your
"just doodle and don't worry about perfection" secret since I ALWAYS struggle with that.
