BTW, I recommend you The Witcher series. While playing this, I had a lot of feelings - What is 'humanity'? Who are the true 'monsters'? Sometimes the monster npcs seems more 'humane' than human characters in that game!
And another BTW, witchers are inspired from vedmaks, male witches in Slavic folklore.
