Hi there!This is my entry for the Cute Monsters design battle.
I hope you like the idea and the character.
If you do, please support me as you did till now and click that "I'd wear this" button
I don't have mega communities on forums supporting me, just my fellow deviant watchers, which i cant thank enough.
Oh, by the way. If anyone knows if this type of drawing works, because i've seen in the pdf that we should limit to 7 colors...
I did a painting. Please warn me if it must be exactly 7 colors simplified.

P.S. And don't worry about the colours. In the previos design battle there was the same limit, but in the top 75 there were several works with much more colours

Great concept and extremely detailed drawing, I like it! I also get the impression that wearing this t-shirt would feel oddly liberating, with all that "loss of baggage" the monster is responsible for... Perfect for the coming spring.
I also chose to ignore the 7 colors limitation, because it was listed as a recommendation and not a requirement. I get that more colors are harder to print, but for a very good image it should be worth it

Certainly I'd wear this! Great design and colors, although I'm not sure I'd like to have that worm inside me! :<
Just my opinion but I think it doesn't look very good on a blue shirt, maybe try with a white or grey (anything bright).

Yes, I am wondering about the 7 colours limit too.
On the safe side I have made my entry with only 7 colours.

i didn't. since most favorite entries don't respect that guideline, i don't really think it's a must.

I think it is a must, becaue while it looks super awesome on screen it won't be as a textile print.
Even though most of us won't win or be in the runner's up, I still think the design should be done as if it is for an actual textile design.
To be honest the 7 max colours limit was the thing that made me wanna join in on the action.
As I am always in for a good challenge.
The only guideline I may not have followed through is the one about preventing large chunks of solid colours.
