Looks great.

I am one of the masses that are waiting (maybe) not so patiently for that to come out. I loved playing both Diablo I and II. Truly sinister looking book, too, btw.

Wow! The textures are amazing. I never thought that someone can make something like this of a "simple" lineart.
May I ask how you did the skin texture? Did you just scribbled it?

I used a piece of leather as a reference. Its main purpose was as a guide for pattern which turns out to be a lot like rivers/deltas on a map. I worked dark to light to control the punch of the texture in the center. Then as you guessed I just scribbled over it, and added some lights to some high points that sort of figured themselves out due to my scribbles.
I just realized I saved this a little small to DA, I just edited it to increase the resolution.

Thank you for the answer. Well, I see, references is a must for every artist. I forget it too often. >.<

May I ask you: How long do you draw?
And sorry, sometimes my English is not the best. But I try my best.

Like daily in my life, or on a single piece?

Daily in your life.
I think the duration of working on a single piece depends on the details and the size. So it could be very different, right?

Aye it varies a lot. Now daily on average I probably spend between 2-3 hours, but if i'm working overtime at work its a lot less. In my college days it was around 8-10 hours a day, ah the college days... how I miss it

Hu, that's really alot. Every time I am impressed, when people spend so much time every time on drawing and painting. That made me think about my own ratfink. ^^"
And when did you start to draw?
As you see I am a very curious person.

Curiosity is good. Began when I was 7, i remember it distinctly I had teenage mutant ninja turtle sheets, and I drew Michelangelo and Donatello over and over again. After I learned who the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were named after (all artists of the Renaissance) I couldn't help but laugh! But began seriously when i was 16, started off being interested in cubism and oil paint, then realized the figure was paramount.

Thank you again! ^^ Well, I didn't realized it that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are named after artists of the Renaissance. Maybe, because I was too small to realize that.
But than you are drawing for a very long time and some hours a day. Then it is clear why you are that good.
I can't wait to see more of your works! I really enjoy to watch other artist. There I can learn a lot and see different styles to mine.

Thats great, you have a very good attitude and that is important I feel I still have a ways to go with my art and ideas, which is exciting because that's what its all about, the process

Yeah! You can't say one day: "Now I am perfect. I don't need more practise." I think that you process every time you draw and paint or just sketch something. And that makes me feel good, because I have the same sickness, like every artist seems to have: The I-am-not-good-enough-sickness. That's why I am thinking that perfectionism can mutate into something that makes you feel so bad and robs you all creativity.
