this is cool, the best way to get rid of those abrupt horizon's is to increase the mist and reduce it's half-height, have a go experimenting to see what happens.

This one looks from first sight pretty nice, but as you can see, the water stops at the end of the map. That's the thing you should avoid, so try making some small rocks, so you can see rocks and not water

You really like making weird-colored clouds, don't you? I can't blame you, the effect is good. The surface is better, though there's still room to improve (there always is, no matter who you are or what you're doing). The sun's angle is good, the islands are half lit and half in shadow. I would suggest making the sky's color match the clouds a bit more, and do something about that water cutoff... if possible. That's the problem with the unregistered version of Terragen. You've got those abrupt horizons.
