Update: Episode 4.01 - Added Kristoff and Pabbie
I've been working on this since halfway through Season 3 and after months it's finally ready for prime time!
Seriously, this show is starting to rival Game of Thrones as far as obtuse family trees go. So what I've got here is a simple visual outline of the more important relationships on OUAT. The costume design on that show is so well done that I had to use full-body representations of the characters and hopefully that will be enough because adding names kind of chopped up the light design.
Let me know what you think, I'd love any feedback.
I plan to update this infographic as more characters and relationships are introduced.

I had to keep some characters out for design purposes, but after the season 4 redesign I'll see if they fit in. I have a soft spot for any characters played by Fringe alum.

Missing some major family relations: Kai, Gerda, Ingrid and Helga need to be added (plus Helga and Anna's engagements to the Duke of Weselton and Hans). Ingrid was a major character and her connection was familial. Also her foster connection to Emma.
Archie and Geppetto had actual biological parents on the show. Geppetto's are the marionettes in Rumple's castle/pawn shop. Archie's were thieves. You could also add that Archie has "adopted" Pongo.
August never had any canonical romantic connection whatsoever to Emma. You might be confusing him for Graham, whom she did (though it ended before it began). That really needs to be removed entirely.
And you're going to need to add King Stephan and Aurora's mother pretty soon once they appear. Also, Philip and Aurora have a baby. Ditto Cinderella's possible two children (a girl named Alexandra and then a boy named Alex). And it looks like Ursula's father is Poseidon. Yet another familial relation coming.

I'll get to most of those in the update. Characters like Geppetto's or Jiminy's parents were left out because I wanted to avoid cluttering out the important characters (which can easily happen, and this thing is stuffed as is).

August did ask Emma out on a date, and they went out. It's not much, but it IS a romantic connection (besides, we don't know how many dates they actually had. They could have had more offscreen. It's sort of implied), and it was shown.Β

In the end of Season 4 Emma is pretty straightforward in explaining that August was just a friend. Maybe she was just saying that to avoid an awkward conversation with Hook, but for now I'm going to remove the romantic connection.

Question (or comment): Storybrooke Cursed memories/backstories weren't technically real, so I don't think that David's marriage to Kathryn was a real one. Engagement, yes, definitely. After the Dark Curse, he spent all that time in the hospital, then was only with her for a short time after that, until the Curse was broken. I don't know if that makes it 'official' or not, but not to me. It was the Evil Queen's sham.Β
Either that, or the Storybrooke court system/County Recorder was very busy following the breaking of the Dark Curse. :-PΒ

It's funny how Graham's 'love line' also connects Emma and Regina 
Also like the fact that you not only had to invent the 'animation line' (aka bringing dead people back to life, not creating moving pictures of them), you also had to actually use it three times.
You should probably connect Regina to Snow, I think her being Snow's step-mother once counts as adoption.

I love that. It's so nicely and carefully made. But I have suggestions as well:
- I'd like some of Emma's locks standing in front of her shoulders. Just for aesthetic reasons.
- Even though Papa Frankenstein is not so thoroughly developed, I think he deserves a spot here. If you've got Cinderella's fairy godmother here, the former should be added here as well.
- I'll just repeat previous posters, but it would have been nice to connect Cora with Rumpelstiltskin. But I understand it would be too hard.
- Last but not least, I'm not quite sure if Graham and Regina's relationship could have been described as a romantic one... I mean, I'm okay with August and Emma even though I didn't see any romantic chemistry (but that's an opinion). But Graham and Regina... I wouldn't call that romantic...

Well hell's bells. Looks like we'll find out more about Aurora and Ariel's 's parentage. Ursula, CrueΒ and Mal show up. Was that Pongo as a puppy at Crue's command in the Belle kidnap bit? Stephan, Poseidon/Triton announced with actors cast!... Β Pinoch is not abandoned but returning. I don't know what to think... but I'm thinking your going to be very busy soon if you haven't given up on this massive project.

Fantastic work! Don't you let the naysayers make you take out the August Emma love line. (wags finger- not at you but at "them")Β Just cause the writers changed their minds does not change the fact that the creators said "We love their chemistry together" of the actors and the actor and actress were making googly eyes at each other in nearly all scenes together. You probably don't do that unless the director instructs you to. The director doesn't do that unless the intent is there somewhere in the story. Something happened story/script wise. We don't know what... but things changed. But out of respect to the actor's effort... there was flirting going on there. Probably love intended.... We shouldn't dismiss it with reveals on a show -months and episodes and plot changes later- that is notorious for changing it's mind and cannonΒ to suit the moment and push theΒ plot of the moment- sometimes in the very same episode.
*I'm looking at you episode where they discover they cant cross the line without forgetting but somehow decide in the very same episode that crossing the line will somehow save them from an angry Regina with magic returned. Pretty much so Charming can have a speech at the edge of town he could just as easily have given to a more intelligent pack at town hall without the ill thought Storybrooke Exodus scene.
But I digress.... As to Emma = August
Even after the show decided to destroy and then abandon the August character they at least had his final act be one for Emma and the rest of the town. The fact that he failed to help them doesn't dismiss the effort.Β He gave up free ride outta town to supposedly a stash of the potion that would cure his condition. He defied Tamara and the offer of "freedom" and humanity with no strings...Β to go back. That's love.
As for your project. Keep up the good work.

It's missing the Once Upon A Time In Wonderland characters (minus Jefferson and Cora lol) but aside from this, it's really awesome and crazy and amazing.

I designed a few OUATIW characters, but so few people watched the show I decided to drop them. The family tree requires a bit of deciphering and I didn't want to frustrate people with extra characters they wouldn't recognize.

Also the babies! It's great you add baby Neal, but it would be cool if baby Philiph (Aurora and Philip) and Alexandra (Cinderella's baby) are added too.
And now that Will Scarlet is in ouat, maybe you should consider make some room for ouat in wonderland characters? idk
