Oils on oilprimed canvas 50x80cm, August 2018

After enjoying working on the digital version, using a traditional_like brush - Mysterious , I had to try it also really traditionally And there was so much going on with this canvas... I worked on it in plainair, and it fell in the dusty grass like sooo many times... But it was in good company - to my surprize many kids seemed to like it... And it was sooooo hot - working with this dark blue and just looking at it had such a cooling effect. With a more moderate weather I would have smoothen it out a little more, but the energy of the moment was different - and I simply let it dry like this.

I will try to make more photos in various light settings, as it gets a shine and if I try to compensate for it, some artefacts appear.

I am really suprized to see how raw it looks in digital form... It has such a different impact in the room... There is so much I do not know...
