I like to idea and it's a great piece, trully nicely done... But the veins is like a repulsive for me. I'm wondering to put on my faves... I mean the artistical stuff is great but the subject...

I'd seriously love to be able to do such an accurate potrayal of muscularity one day. Idea wise, this is definately your best peice as it truly illustrates a colossal being. My only suggestion would be to see a nude version (to make it seem even more natural and god like), but that's just me!

that...just scares me...Does anyone have that veiny of legs, even if they are really really muscular? Someone answer me, pleez. I mean the picture is really good, but I don't understand why someone would want to paint that.

The vascularity comes from the extreme dehydration and 0% bodyfat that bodybuilders achieve to compete during their competitions. The idea is to lower the skin as close to the muscles as possible to give the judges a better view of the different muscular shapes the bodybuilders have sculpted. The viens are a by product of this as they lay on top of muscles to feed them with blood. I'd imagine that viens grow too thus increasing the blood suply to large hungry muscles.
