Seriously...how the hell can that be considered "evolution"?? One the left we have a carefree goku, who loves nothing more than to have adventure and improve his fighting skill, and go beyond the human capabilities of the consumption of food. On the other side we have some emo, 'oh-why-i-have-to-save-the-world' whining little bitch without any sense of humor around him who has trouble fitting in high school... when the HELL did goku even go to any sort of school that doesn't involve fighting and/or food in the manga and anime?? Goku's too cool for school...Yeah, i know i'm like one of the many hundreds who have insulted the abomination of the movie adaption of Dragon Ball (without even watching it yet), but i can't help it!! I'd have to be a lousy Dragon Ball fan to pass on the opportunity to verbally and artistically destroy this film.
Despite all the hate, i'll still watch this film, and then probably artistically fuck it up even more later.
P.S. Somewhere in Japan, Akira Toriyama is crying...

The only thig I liked were the costumes, Goku had an awsome outfit in evolution, everything else was crap

They portrayed Goku in the most anti-Goku way they could possibly have. And they took away his best friend.. 
Not to mention the fact that 99% of the abomination didn't even remotely resemble the original plot.
But yeah, people who are absolutely ignorant of the greatness of the true series may have actually pegged it as an ok movie. But for true fans-TOTAL FAIL.

Akira Toriyama is laughing his ass off. The reason why it's called "Dragonball Evolution" is because of the fact that "Dragonball Evolution" was the title given to the "Dragonball" live action movie in Japan when it was first announced, since it's totally not Dragonball at all.
Seeing that the Dragonball movie didn't really follow the plot of the original show, and after witnessing the butthurt of a million fanboys the world over, the American studio quietly changed the title of the movie from "Dragonball" to "Dragonball Evolution" to show that it was something completely different from the original.
From what I've heard, though, DBE is supposed to be a decent movie, if you don't compare it to the original at all.
It's not like "Legend of Chun-Li", which actually had nothing redeeming about it. Seriously man--white woman pretending to be Asian, shitty excuses for fighting scenes, no goddamn Ken and Ryu, no M. Bison? I don't want to even talk about it.

OMG, i forgot about Legend of Chun-li, that looks absolutely awful!! That movie makes the original Street Fighter (the one with Van Damme) more entertaining. At least in the first film they attempted to have the same costumes as the characters. 
Technically M.Bison is in the film... he's the blonde guy wearing the business suit.... yeah...

Yeah, i was really pissed off when i heard Krillin wasn't even in the movie. He's like one of Goku's best friends! The movie needs the comic relief.
Then again, if they did put Krillin in, they probably would've cast Michael Rosenbaum... how scary would that be..

Lol, the naive Dragon Ball fan in me hopes that the movie will at least be somewhat likable and have some redeeming qualities, but oh well, that's probably never ever gonna happen.

as a dragonball fan (and beleive me, ive followed toriyamas carrer, DR SLUMP!!) and a film fan i hated it
its just.. everything wrong in an hour and a half
and i thought cheesy martial arts movies with whiny teens..
