This awesome demon-cat was commissioned by !HOLY CATS I loved drawing this. I'd also like to thank for showing me the filters in Sketchbook Pro. Now I can make the colors brighter!

Haha, don't feel bad! Wings are frickin' HARD!
You draw the downy feathers first (the smallest ones that line the wing muscle), then the medium feathers (the second layer) And finally the wing feathers (the longest ones). Be sure to make the wing in a slope, so the feathers have to get smaller as they get closer to the flank.
