This photograph is perfectly sharp and the colors are really beatiful. But I find the brown leafs(?) on the background to be a bit distracting. Maybe you could try to desaturate them a bit in photoshop? Or make them a little less brown and more greenish? That way they will be more a part of the background, 'blend' more into the picture and be less distracting of the dog.
Also the picture is a little bit tilted over to the left I think.
And I really love the dog, I think it must be the most beatiful shepherd I've ever seen!
