Description This is my first real attempt at a walkthru/tutorial so any suggestions on how it might be improved are more than welcome. It is a large file so please be patient.

Ahh but you are too modest as I can see from the lovely work in your gallery!

Thank you for making this tutorial! I'd like to do more work in watercolours so this will surely be an asset to me.

Nice! Don't you love stretching paper?

I'm downloading this. BTW, may I ask what's the size? and if you're not tired of my questions, how do you like that ink?

The size of the file? about 650kb. The size of the painting was about 25cm x 35cm.
I am happy with the cedar coloured ink but I must be more careful to paint around around it - something I thought I wouldn't have to worry about to be honest!

As for the watercolours beading over areas of graphite, you could try priming the whole sheet of paper with a flat wash of clear water with a couple drops of Ox Gall liquid before painting over it.
