Thought I'd redo the render of my collar that I did before but with some better textures and lighting.I think that this really looks a lot more realistic looking now. Although I think the pattern of the leather on it could have done with being a tad smaller.
Still... here it is anyway.
Modeled, Textured and Rendered in Maya.

Yeah... I think I made it look WAY too shiny. Leather could probably be better too. Again I'm sure I could make a much better job of it the second time around with all the knowledge I've gained since I first did this.

Thats awesome.
I love it when people tell me they had to take a second look at a 3D model to see if it was 3D or not. Makes putting that little bit of extra effort in really worth it.

for some reason is called 3D, you never know if its a real picture or not so you have to take a look twice.

I have a Sonic plushie that my mother got me... she saw it in a shop and knew instantly I'd love it.
Haven't ever seen a Tails one though... I'd die for one of those lol.

The schools around here are like that as well... I think they just want to turn everyone into faceless drones where individuality is frowned upon.
I could never wear mine to school for that exact reason.
