Description
Hello, all! Here is may next set of Pro Pattern designs for Animal Crossing: City Folk! (And look! I added numbers this time! This should help greatly....)Ok, so this is really two (count 'em, TWO!) sets, with all sorts of mix-and-match possibilities, as they all use palette 10/16. I created these patterns for one of my favorite DA people, . She helped me a short time ago by figuring out the notes to a song I wanted to use as my Town Tune in City Folk (which, by the way, Hikari, I AM using... forgot to mention that... thanks again!), and I told her i owed her one. She asked me to do a picture, which I still am going to, but I felt like I also should do something for her in AC, too, as that was were she helped me.
So then I figure out the who Pattern-Matrix, and I upload my first set (Pikmin, if anyone is interested) and she seems to be quite impressed. She said she'd been having much trouble trying to figure out how to make the little Brawl logos, and I told her I'd be happy to help out. Being that she's Chibi-*PIT*, I could guess which logo was at the forefront of her mind, and the who thing started from there.
Like i said, I began with the Palutena's Arrow logo, and knew it had to be more than that(after all, the Pikmin logo was just on the sleeves of my last one... much complexity). I knew i had to somehow create Brawl-Pit, but I knew it wasn't gonna be easy. His official pic has lots of information in it, and let me tell ya, it does NOT compress well. So I ended up doing just his head, at it looked really funky(at first).
I wasn't sure if it was gonna work out, so I put it on the back-burner, so to speak, and, logo story short (that involves disastrous attempts at compressing various "Kid Icarus" title-logos) I decided to create stuff using Pit's NES-sprites. This was a walk in the park, as i had done a very similar Pit design in Wild World, and created the set on the bottom. So easy, in fact, I felt it was a cop-out. "Oh, anyone can do this," I thought. So, I decided to design a back for the other set(with the head and arrows). The full-body pic wasn't gonna work, so I looked around for some different imagery. I decided to try the screenshot from the trailer, where pit first appears and fires an arrow, thinking it'd be dramatic. When I worked my mojo on it, it looked REALLY funky, but I was determined. I tweaked some colors and pixels, and got it(I think, anyway) pretty darned good. Then i realized "DUH! Tweak the head!!" So, I went back to the front design, and messed around with some junk and got it(again, I think) pretty DAMNED good. I was pretty impressed with how they came out, and now I think I'm gonna make them for myself in the game!
Now, yes, I did design these with in mind, but anyone out there is more than welcome to use these for themselves! Try 'em out! Mix and match! (One combo I keep thinking of is a shirt with set 1's front and back, and set 2's sleeves. How cool would THAT be? A little "new meets old" thing... sorry) And tweak! This is just a guide; I dunno, try putting pixel-Pit in front of the arrow or something. Have fun with it! (I mean... if you want to... no pressure...)
Well, Hikari, I hope you (and everyone else out there!) enjoys this set. Happy designing!

Nice! I kinda stink at getting detail on my patterns (i'm getting better! ^_^) but myself aside, this is great!

No other emoticon can possible express my heartfelt gratitude.
And your superhero incredible ability to compress and transform anything and everything into Animal Crossing Pro Pattern designs never fails to superbly impress me; I printed this out and showed in to mah mom, who was just as amazed as I am. Let me know when you set up your own Animal Crossing design pattern headquarters so I can come by and worship the ground you walk on.

Oh! you are too kind! I am SO glad you liked it!!! (haha when you put it on in the game, I was all "eeeeee!!!!!") I am so glad it made you so happy!
Haha well, the the headquarters is right here, on this slow-assed, defective G5, on a rickety computer table. Not really the place one would worship, eh? But, if you have, or ever have, a request, I'm more than happy to give it a try! (And since we're AC buddies, i'll even hand-deliver it to your tailors!... sometimes. Those take like 2 hours to make in game! Anyway...)
Thanks again, Hikari. Having you as a fan/friend makes putting up with all the nimrod-12 year olds on this site possible!
