Description
Full View is BetterThis is a drawing of Marvel Comics' Spider-Man villain Electro. His build and face structure are based on the Ultimate Spider-Man version, while his costume is based on the one he wore during Mark Millar's run on Marvel Knights: Spider-Man. The bald head is Max Dillion, Electro's without his mask. The lack of hair is based on how his powers function in the Ultimate Universe (Where using them zaps all his hair off). Hope you like it.

Very energetic piece you have here! I like his posing, and everyone(including myself) seems to like how you rendered his powers over electricity. Very nicely done!

You're very welcome! Where would you say your influences come, in regards to your drawing style(just curious)?

I'd like to think my influences are Mark Bagley (Penciller on Ultimate Spider-Man, especially on my Spidey art.XD), Jeff Mastuda & the other character designers from The Batman, Steven E. Gordon (The main character designer on X-Men Evoultion), Mike Wieringo (Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man and former Fantastic Four penciller).

Those are indeed some great artistic influences! It's interesting to note, that all these different artists actually have a lot of similarities in their work(nothing wrong with that, I say!). I've been a fan of Mark Bagley from waaaaaaaay back when(I still thumb thru my issues of New Warriors that he worked on!). Back then, I was exclusively Marvel, and would barely even touch a DC book. Who would've thought that I'd be such a DCU fan now(the only Marvel book I read regularly is The Ultimates), and even start up a club for DC lovers? Not me, I tell ya'!

Yeah, the highlight would have to be his cool costume - how awesome you managed to draw it - and the awesome electricity. I remember drawing electricity once, and i hated it. I know it took forever, and when I was done it never looked good. Though, I'm not going to lie, you did a wonderful job on this one with it. XD
Great drawing!

I really like your involvment of a slight background in this one! The lightening bolts are extremely realistic and seem to stretch from the edges of the page
