The first of what will hopefully be a series of video game cover re-designs based on the well-known Penguin Classics "black band" book covers. Kudos to you if you got the joke without me having to explain it!

This started off as a humorous idea that eventually lead to me traipsing around the neighborhood trying to get suitable photos to use in the designs. These were taken in Ontario, where some trees turn bright red before others (that first cover actually does feature a bright red tree in front of someone's house amongst all the greenery, but you can't really tell since I desaturated so much of it). I found that potted plant on my apartment balcony. I don't know where it came from... Or rather, I know exactly where it came from.

I had two ideas for the covers, so I gave one of them the "RED SEEDS PROFILE" title to make them a little different. I would have liked to do the back and spine as well, but I'd like to do some other game covers first before going on to something that complicated. Anyway, enjoy!
