Today in my global class we were talking about
the cold war and my teacher said that the Soviet Union
was also referred to as MOTHER RUSSIA
I looked like this -> become one with Mother Russia?

we were talkinag about imperialism and about how england/britain, france, spain and all those other europeans are the mother countries and she always calls them shes and the colonies are the kids and how the world is their children so in a way they were one with them and since russia was last the last european to industrialize, it just makes me think hes making up for lost parental time!
