Description
Old Vortian character. Never posted him because I didn't feel like it. ;-; He's so cute.ANYWAY. THIS IS FERN. The fact he can fly is due to those magical socks he's wearing. He's quite the adventurer, so he goes into tombs and stuff, and takes anything of interest. Now, these socks were unfortunately legendary, and soon everyone found out he had found them, and the government and everyone is now after him. He almost never takes them off, too.
Why does barely anyone have Vortians of other colours? Dudes and dudettes, we need moar Vortians.
Ugh, first time I've worked with coloured pencils in a LONG while. X.x What do ya think?
Oh and one more thing: I drew this at the Dutch IZ con. :3 It's one of the best things I've drawn today, in my opinion. I'll post more later.

I really wonder how you come up with such bizzare characters. I mean, socks that make you fly? That's just strange but quite original. xDD The idea is cute but his expression just looks funny with those socks on with those little stars trailing behind him xDD

Hee, thanks. ^^ I've kept most of them, though. Marlon needs one more redesign-session concerning the horns and Cindy and Vincent need a completely new look. The rest of my characters will either have only minor changes to their design and/or backstory or a new outfit, and for the rest they will stay as they are.
