Just a little train humor I did. :VThis is was Canada did to their Locomtives back in the day. -3- Not that it was a bad thing, I just decided to just twist everything around and try to make it funny. =3= And no the things weren't that big. XDDD
I have to say I'm starting to get the hang of drawing Locomotives. I still need to practice though. Lol.

Kinda reminds me of the massive bell and lamp that got stuck on the front of Flying Scotsman when he went on his American tour back in the 70's

Canada mainly got the majority of its locomotives from the US. back then they would often do a bit of "Canadianizing to them. Adding
a 3 chime horn, a visible bell on top, and those weird box things idk what they are. They come in different shapes. Some locos were made
exclusively for canadian railways.
Also I thought that was in the 60s. 1969, was it? .3.

Yeah, I haven't the faintest clue as to what those box things are or what their purpose is either. But, from the looks of things, they stuck bells, 3-chime horns and those box thingies on U.S.-built locos in the 60's and (correct me if I'm wrong) 70's as well.

Yeah, I'd noticed that when looking at pics of them. I guess my only question at this point is why Canada put massive bells and 3-chime horns on the F-units and yet the USA's F-units and the Australian derivatives for the Victorian Railway (the B-class and S-class) didn't have these.
