Aoi likes to portray herself as bright and cheerful person with those she feels comfortable around, however it can differ to people she doesn't know as well as comrades in battle. Because of Aoi’s past she tries not to trust anyone she comes across unless it’s from someone she’s known for a very long time, but she will take her time to save those who need it. She tries her best not to start fights with others and keep an eye on what she feels is important for her task at hand. With all the negativity she's surrounded with she tries to keep herself around in a positive note and help her friends if they so need it. Aoi loves to go out to the river and bask in the water from time to time, and usually when she’s not working or at the army, she is training with her horse, Onyx to better herself for battle.

Because Of how Aoi grew up, she tends to try to do everything on her own, which usually brings her childhood friend to force her into asking for help. Instead of leaning on others she tends to push everything onto herself, which can tend to get too much for her at times. Depending on the situation at hand, she likes to take her work life pretty seriously, especially since it's easy for her to be nice to others but it be a completely different story in terms of communication and trust. Because of her backstory she tends to like to keep the people she considers close to her on her good side and keep them for herself rather than sharing.

History

                         Life in Kazguni
Originally being a child of kazguni , Aoi had lived in a small village with her family. Not having too much memory since she was so young, the events are not prominent to her of her mother and father. When she was younger, Reiphinians came to attack the village, killing everyone in it expect for the children, collecting them to bring back to Reiphin to do illegal trade and keep them as slaves. Being there for possibly over a year, the reiphin royalty had caught onto their illegal trades, went in, disbanded and killed those who participated in the illegal act. Having the slave traders dead, the children who were enslaves were left to their own devices, which led Aoi and the others homeless in the unfamiliar country of Reiphin.

                                 Childhood
  Aoi, though growing up without her parents, had to go throughout most of her life fending for herself in the slums of the country of Reiphin. While she struggled to give herself meals day by day, she met Ingrid, who taught her how to survive more efficiently when it came to living life in the slums. Ever since they met in the alleyways on Reiphin, they have been inoperable. They consider each other to be family. Being as though Ingrid had the most experience when it came to survival, Ingrid taught her how to survive together and understand that living for each other was good enough for them. Since the Kingdom of Reiphin is cruel and unforgiving, Ingrid had brought upon herself to catch side jobs and do other things to bring food on the table for them while Aoi trained herself with weapons for self defense if she ever needed it. Because of how dangerous everything was, and even though she did not like to fight or kill without reason, she wanted to learn for the sake of protecting not only herself but the closest thing she had to her, Ingrid. Aoi is a sweet girl, and made good connections with others to use for anything she might need in the future, however the only person she’s truly given her trust to is her friend. She tends to be friendly but also keep to herself. Aoi eventually became tired of their life on the streets and made it a point for her and her friend to join the army. Before leaving, Ingrid and Aoi said their goodbyes, promising her that she would always come to visit and send her money to that she could live comfortable at home while she fought in the war. Though Ingrid was upset, she let Aoi go on her way to do her part in taking care of their family.
                                   Army
  Aoi has decided to use a lance as her main weapon, and upon working for the army, she met her trusted partner Onyx, of whom she still has until this day. Though she likes to keep herself busy with training and keeping herself fit to be in the Reiphin army. Though is is not a fan of fighting, she finds that it is more productive than living in the slums for the rest of her life without trying to make something of herself. Because her childhood friend was always there for her, she always tries to work hard for her, giving herself that extra boost when it comes to combat or protecting the people she feels needs to be protected. She makes sure to give all her comrades equal treatment and loves to spend all her time with her Horse. Though Aoi had been on her own most of her life, she dreams of finding a connection and finding her own type of family, just as she did with her childhood friend, Ingid. During her time in the army, she had met Crobyn, who at first, they were both terribly awkward to one another, but alow, they grew closer, realizing that they had more in common than they believed to, and eventually under a willow tree fell in love. Though her journey would be somewhat short, not enjoying the reign the queen had over the country and seeing the differences between her son and stirring the place uproar, Aoi and Crobyn knew that they both could not stand and fight for something they did not believe in, and because of that, they left the war to start their own rebellion as the Prince did so himself, calling it the People's Mutiny, for she and her husband believed that the people deserved a voice, rather than being controlled to do what the higher authorities thought was best for their nation.

Inviting Ingrid to join her cause and agreeing half heartedly, she and her husband, Crobyn, started her own rebellion against the king as well as the Queen for equal rights to the freedom of their country.

                           Paralogue

Fiyuki, oldest of the Akamine family has come back for Revenge of the attempted assassination of his younger sister, Haruko. Having information that the attempted assassination was Ingrid, he sets out to find out more about her in order to plan his retaliation of revenge. Having only little information on Ingrid herself, he had found information of her closest person, Aoi and where she was in the army. Finding the perfect time and following her, he took the perfect moment to strike while she was out with Crobyn visiting Nestra. Shooting her right next to the heart, Aoi almost dies from the puncture. Crobyn, watching it happen before his eyes, makes a vow to himself never let anything happen to Aoi again, and decides to harden himself for the sake of her and his future family.
