Lovely.
I miss being able to use ART-Collab stuff in Poser, but I hope you're doing well.

((HUGS)) Sorry I missed this message...my father passed a few months previous to this and I kinda was sleep walking through life and didnt realize there were any replies. Sorry on the Poser Content front I had to pick one and while originally I wasn't fond of DS, over time I found it could do more and I had the ability to get closer to what I picture in my head to come out in DS. I am sorry though. I never really thought I'd like DS at all let alone better or that there would come I time I neded to pick one but I couldnt keep up with trying to support both items and the sales just werent there to warrant it
Miss you though <3 <3

I'm sorry about your dad. Losing someone close is always a hard thing. We've lost several friends and extended family over the last few years, so my heart does truly go out to you.
Been thinking about you. I just installed a bunch of your old characters for the pre-K4 Daz kids into a new runtime (more on that further down).
I guess I can understand that. People keep trying to push me in Daz Studio and I'd rather give up 3D than switch to Studo from Poser. I just don't have quiet time enough to sit and relearn all the stuff. We've had some offline changes in our household/personal lives here, so i'm lucky to get a few quiet hours a week on the PC.
Well, several of your newer sets, I would have gladly paid for Poserized versions. I'm not going to mess with converting because I'd have to download and install D|S, find reliable tools and methodology, and so forth... I just can't do it.. *sigh*
I had a colossal tech blow up in January 2017. I lost my runtime external. I found out my backup external was unresponsive. In addition, I found out that this computer can only read about one in every three backup CDs or DVDs of content installers (and any other disc) from the old computer. In early 2016, the computer started acting up. it took me until August 2016 to get back online with a Poser-capable computer (although this thing really is a whimp)... So, 2016& 2017 weren't that great and I'm having to rebuild runtimes from scratch...
This is about all the progress I've made on rebuilding runtimes. Well, ok, it's a bit out-of-date, because the Daz K4 have a runtime since I posted... So little progress in over a year is killing me and I'm considering throwing in the towel with Poser abou every-other-day, at this point...
Poser Runtime Rebuild Progress as off 11-2017
I've been working on the pre-K4 Daz kids all month and it's not been fun. Had to fix a lot of things in other vendors' stuff so far (and I still have a way to go before I'm done with installing the kids' stuff). All I had to do to your old stuff was update thumbnails, organize it under my new system, bang out a new contents list (so know where I put everything later) and install it. So, I'm thankful to you. LOL
Any way, dear, I'm going to shut up now. I hope you're well. Miss you, too.

That all sounds tough So very sorry
On the DS end I know when I was trying to make up my mind what to do (stick to Poser or move to DS) people were forever being pushy and ticking me off LOL Its a choice you have to make for you when/if you are ready etc. No one can "convince you" to like something you don't want or arent prepared to like or learn etc. I will say that when I decided to bite the bullet on my own and give DS a try I was actually delightfully surprised I liked it better than Poser but again that is always a matter of taste, comfort, expectations. Personally, I wish both apps could be combined. I feel like DS is sort of disorganized and as such seems more daunting and confusing and Poser's organization seems much better but then DS has features that once you know they are there are 100% awesome sauce LOL (but finding them can leave you bald and screaming unless someone is going to tell you or help you some) I kinda wish I could have the best of both worlds LOL Neither is better or worse they are just different. That said I had to pick one. I was supporting so many things and my sales just never went up or down regardless but the time it took me to do the things did...it went up by so many weeks. So I just had to choose in the end I do to this day still feel bad though. I resisted for a long long time, longer than most PAs save a couple. If my family wasn't as dependent on the money from this or if I had the extra weeks Id probably still support Poser but it was choose one or sort of quite and try something else since it wasn't working out the way it was going
I am sorry though <3
Sorry to hear about the computer issues and the loss of friends etc. I know that is all so very hard. Big big hugs to you <3 <3 <3

At this pont, I'd give up 3D totally before switching. I just don't have enough brain power, energy, sanity, and time these days to re-learn everything. I did briefly try to get a grip on DS a few summers ago when i bought Carrara because DS is so closely linked with it. While I liked the little of Carrara 8.5 Pro that I picked up a the time, I just don't have time to tweak every material zone for every model that import into it. D|S still confused the hell out of me then (especially lights and cameras).
Ah, well, i still have your old stuff to play with. I finished the pre-K4 Kids' runtime. I used a couple of props from your Maddie Bumble set. I used Mommy's Little Angel Kyle in a render.
Be well and best wishes.
