It's been a while since I last touched upon 3D so decided to freshen myself up with another TF2 model: myself as the soldier this time around

I know a lot of people have said this but it definitely reminds me of Animal Crossing. xD But hey, TF2 in Animal Crossing would definitely make it more fun. c: It does get pretty boring~

Actually I didn't submit it! Someone had stolen my image, submitted it as their own and then won a prize. So I contacted Valve about it and they changed the credit to my name

Well the 3D was done in Maya, with the textures & post processing done in the almighty Photoshop

Hmm it depends what you mean by hard. Hard making these when knowing 3D or not knowing 3D??
Either way, it's still a little bit of a challenge re-interpreting the characters and modelling them. A few sketches before hand, for some reference, then it's just maya & photoshop all the way!
