I was drawn to this piece instantly from the thumbnail! The shading is amazing and the level of detail is very nice. Getting smaller twigs and branches to look natural can be hard and you've shaped everything very well here. Some of the knots look a little strange, especially the largest one along the left branch. While keeping them lighter overall is normal, having some shading to shape them so they look more rounded and like they are part of the tree rather than pasted on would probably help there. Doubly so because that half of the tree is in the shade anyway, darkening parts of the knots would help unify them. The lines that you've added on for bark texture also look a little strange. To me, personally, they look almost more like wrinkles than anything. Looking at photos of trees and studying the sorts of lines that actual bark makes will help next time you add these types of details. Adding some of that darkest shading along the base where the roots are will also help shape the tree that much more. The way you'e drawn the roots makes them appear to be more spread out before going into the ground from the trunk, but the shading makes them look more rounded all the way down.

Overall, this is still a very lovely piece~ There's a lot to look at without feeling overwhelmed. c: Keep it up~!
