I felt like Bluefur was pretty heartless during this scene, she completely abandoned kitten Scourge and didn't even come back to check on him after the two had left
Honestly knowing her past I'm surprised she didn't act out like this.

Yeah!! That's exactly what I meant. There are a lot of scenes in the book that the Erins rushed through that could've impacted much more with better writing, so I am glad for these!
Honestly that book gets beaten up a lot, (and yea it really sucked) but at least now we know why they don't want Thistlestalker in StarClan

Exactly! Javier did an excellent job bringing out Bluefur's motherly side! And the characters fit perfectly which made for a better scene. Honestly, if Bluefur had made more of a scene, and Scourge had figured out that Tigerstar was the reason she was dead, he'd be even more passionate for his revenge.
