Description I thought of Flow. being the title 'cause I especially love the background so flowing in this shot. It came to me minutes later that you get 'flower' when you paste -er to Flow. What do you mean blonde?

It's part of a pink flower we call French Geranium. I liked it better in black and white and square.

lovely abstract-nature piece. I love the softness of the photograph. it really looks like a satin veil... I'm glad you made it B&W

Thank you very much! I'm still very glad I kept it black and white!

Thanks!

The intimacy of this shot is what makes everything work. How you chose the perfect framing, where what's presented isn't the flower in full, rather the instantly recognisable essence of it.

What captivates my attention and fascination the most is how the rims of the two petals suggest a gentle, flowing motion, like the opening of palms. So sweetly evocative of quiet seduction.

Wonderful work

I love how you describe it. I think I can read entire books filled with your words

And again, I'm amazed about how you describe it, since petals are in fact the essence of the picture. Their flow, their shape, creates the entire flower.

Thanks again, so much!

Flowers, when shot right, always have something exceedingly sensual about them. Full a evocative of SEX.

They look like female genitalia

Ha, you should've heard the comments I've got on Rigor Mortis (part I)!

Well basically I invented this... uh... league of arch heroes.

One was the meatless-ass man. Pretty straight to the point. He kills people by stabbing them with his sharp tailbone, since he has no buttocks. They're just two empty sockets.

And then there's this guy... that... well he has a very long neck, so long that it hangs back. Like, try tilting your head up as far as you can. Yeah, he can go all the way back, so his neck is horizontal and perpendicular to the ground. He kills people by snapping his neck forward. ... yeah he's my favourite.

And then there's a chick, that's a vagina monster. Her face is a vagina that has teeth in it and it does that Alien thing, where it shoots out a mini vagina which also contains sharp teeth. ...

... Yeah.

I think I was like, 16 or something at the time

The bottom corner of the photo? if you look quickly it looks like part of a face. (mouth and chin from the side) I find it adds a really awesome effect to an already great photo. I love how delicate it looks :3

Wonderful. And Flow is indeed the most fitting title. I love how softly the focus shifts from the sharp edge of the petal to the background. Flowing indeed. Makes me feel like checking this Tokina out one day. Very classy, and a sure fav.

Thank you very much! It's an awesome lens. It's on my camera non stop actually It's a 100mm f/2.8 macro, so it can do regular shots and amazing macro's. You should definitely take a look at it

Sounds great. Too bad it only comes in Canon and Nikon flavours. I'm now stuck with M42, and moving to K-mount later this year (hopefully). Don't know if there are converters for this, but if so, I'll be more than willing to try it out. I don't usually care for AF anyway.

And you're welcome.
