Description
Not been about much, been r e a l l y busy, not had time to do much work for fun so I thought I'd do a quick doodle to post. This image took about 65-75 minutes of painting time - interstingly it was formed in an ad-hoc way; I kinda just let the image come about - no plans.
Original image size ~3500 wide
All painting in PS
Wacom Intuos Tablet.

That is awesome!!!
When is the next boarding time? I want to go for a ride!!
Usually when you wing it in a painting or drawing, it brings out your best talents!!!
What tools did you use in PS?

Look at that red strokes! They are red not because of the functionality or conception. They are so because of classic artistic color rules to fade burned cyanide tones. This is what the universe can only afford through Gary Tonge.

jaja... it was a good time that you don t upload nothing, this is cool... tell me, is it the ship from the another painting? I mean, the prometeus, I know it isn t but it s the same style... I like it and well, if one can consider the circumstances, the physic from the ship is correctly (how can it move over the air and how can it change of direction)... the only thing I didn t think is how can it stay on the air... here is where you really have to show me your creative talent! come on gary! tell me, how can it stay on the air (I mean the space ship that is flying that is not in this painting )...
...Nico.

when you work like this, do you use a vanishing point or do you just go?

Just beautiful, and quite painterly. That ship just looks so hydrodynamic. How do you get the sharp edges on your strokes like that? Sharpen tool? Unsharp mask? Or do you have some special brushes with very precise edges?
