this is I don't know if it's intencional, but when you see a shot like this, or from rays bursting out of cloud, they tend not to be orientated in the same direction. in the sea it happens because from the movement above, light is refracted in all sorts of different directions. I don't mean to mess around with your work, which is beautiful, but it's something you should look into
