The description of my OC Tomin.Sum-up: A very protective kitsune who is caught between two worlds.
Height: 1 meter and 60 centimeter.

I like the style of this. The lineart is crisp and clear, but subtle. However I have a little nitpick: the lips on the character. I can assume you were using a sort of traditional Japanese style, but it doesn't blend well with your arnime-esque style. The coloring and blending both look great, and I like that you added the expression reference as well. Those are handy and convey a bit about the character, you know? The character bio is okay, however it gives very little regarding Tomin's personality or story. A list of traits is not very specific and aren't impactful at all. I think a little more "spicing up" regarding his backstory wouldn't hurt. It sounds interesting, but the first impression should catch on more to passerby viewers. (That's just me. I'm one picky bastard! lol) I also think expanding on the concept of Tomin's Kitsune traits. Kitsune, in Japanese folklore, were said to be powerful warlocks, naturally talented in the art of magick and illusion. Try expanding some of this into the description on DA itself so the viewer can focus a bit more on the art. Overall, I like this a lot and I look forward to seeing this guy again! I still experiment with the expression, and even when drawing anime style, I tend to include more realistic elements which as you pointed out doesn't seem to mix too well.Ā
For the list of traits, this image was part of a task in OC-training that called for such a description.
And I kept his backstory in the dark intentionally as I do plan on publishing comics/stories that will explain this.Ā
For the kitsune part, I am aware of their role in Japanese mythology, and as written in the monologue, my spirits are quite a bit different from the folklore around them.

This sounds like an interesting character and world, with lots of potential for excitement and drama. I especially like the picture where Tomin is baring their fangs in a menacing grin.

The plot of Tomin's world sounds super interesting!
It's cute of him how he still goes to visit his friend whenever he gets free time to do so! It shows how nice he is~

His angry face is really scary! I like how his ears change with each expression. It adds more emotion to them and makes them feel less like an accessory and more like an actual part of him. I wonder if Riana's family will ever find out about her ability to communicate with spirits.

I have a soft spot for Yokai stories, so I'm definitely looking forward to meeting Tomin over the round!
