"Thea," June called, "I don't know if you've realized, but we're kinda supposed to do this as a team." She and Drizzle were on the ground, looking up to a high branch where their teammate was climbing. High in the trees her voice answered. "After what happened to Drizzle?! No way." Thea made her way up the tree until she became level with the multi-colored vine she had spotted from the ground. Sure, though Thea would argue it was through unconventional methods, Drizzle had gotten a vine already. But the pressure when he fell caused the end of the vine to fray off in different directions, and Thea was worried it might fall apart. So, she took it upon herself to get another vine, to make sure Drizzle's efforts we not all for naught. She refused to let her teamates up the tree with her, gently pushing off their paws when they tried to follow her up the tall tree.
However, as she looked to the Prism vine's location, she was beginning to have second thoughts. The vine hung peacefully on the other side of two overlapping branches that formed a kind of pseudo-bridge. One wrong move and Thea would be sent plummeting to the ground below.
Thea pushed back her fear as she walked on all fours toward the colorful plant. She heard June call again, she seemed a bit frustrated than before. "There's no shame in letting your TEAM help." June tried to reason,"We're perfectly capable of lending a paw." She shouted jesturing to Drizzle and herself.
"And put you little ones in harms way again?" Thea replied nervously, "What kind of team leader would I be if I let you two get hurt?"
"Funny, I don't remember making you leader..." June mumbled hotly, too far for Thea to hear. "What should we do?" Drizzle chimed in. He looked fretfully to June, clutching his prism vine in his paws. "Nothing." June replied, "If she wants to break her neck acting like she's on top of everyone, then I say let her." June sat on the soft grass, looking unfazed as ever, as Thea toppled this way and that across the branches of the tree overhead.
