While i'm not a person who does abstract art, I thought this piece had a unique feel to it, and even I was intrigued by it.

My first thought was, what was the use of the grains for? Was it on purpose? Did it add to the ambuguity of the picture? It certainly felt that it was put on purpose to bring us the feel of an old piece of art. Yet it still left me wondering for more.

The lines of the building that actually cast a nice leading line ended with a singular cloud that really appealed to me because of how it was so individualistic in nature and natural in it's own element.

I wasn't so sure however of the darkness of this photo, which didn't really let me see more than I wanted to. What could have happened here was that as you pointed your camera upwards, the sky made your camera read the clouds and underexpose the buildings as a result. Could that be rectified? surely.

I think as an abstract piece, I might have proved a good point in making me think for myself from my own perspective. Yet as an abstract piece to me again, it continued to make me just as confused like it does for other pieces. Not a bad thing at all sometimes

Thank you very much, interesting words.
The grain was put in manually partly because I love grain, partly because I felt it added to the scene, and partly because my camera, no matter what ISO setting adds a ton of it. As for the darkness, that was intentional, and I set the camera that way, yet I suppose I should either have increased the brightness or decreased it to make it look more purposeful.

Thanks, I'll increase the brightness slightly, see if I like it better.

This is really cool, I like how it almost looks like the cloud is raining on just that part of the building-- brilliant image.

I like the sparing use of white in this.

The way in which the cloud is reflected in the black ceiling/ window-frame is cool, too.

Nice work!
