Description
Two photographersOne in a pedal boat in the middle of the Geneva lake,
The other on a ledge next to a lighthouse,
Both these men carry weapons
That freeze time
Among other things
Looking around
Preying for sights
To capture and freeze and manipulate
None arise
Both these men are stumped
As if by chance
Eye contact occurs
An eagle shreaks overhead
"What the bloody hell was that?"
Photographer number 1 asks
An eagle
replies the cinematographeure
The man in charge of this cheap Western flick
After eye contact these men realize
They're fate lies in a matter of milliseconds
Longer eye contact occurs
Immediately both men fiddle in their pockets
For their cameras,
Or god forbid, something else
Photographer 1 has grabs his camera first
Promptly shoots him
Photographer 2 flies right off the ledge
Landing 20 feet away in the water
The battle has been won!
Photographer 2 won't fight another day

Fantastic critique. To the mirroring, that is something that I hadn't thought of, well interpreted. As for his expression, I think the final comment "why the hell is he taking a photo of me" would be accurate
When I take a photo, I generally do see the message that I am trying to shoot, however with this, I just wanted a minimalistic photo, and I think the suggestions as to it's meaning have made me see the photo in a completely new way. The fact that artists lessen relationships to pursue their art is one I completely agree with, isolation. My family already hates my new hobby
I am incredibly glad this photo made you stop and think, as that is an objective of my work. To hold the viewer, make him consider new things, unique things, keep his attention, make him draw up new conclusions, new interpretations. I thank you once again for this.

What a creative story to go with this piece. I like how you have the image broken up into thirds. Well done.

Can I just say, absolutely fantastic composition and angle. The contrasts and the spacing in this picture blow me away.
I think if I had to offer some sort of critique, I'd ask if you've tried making the shot rectangular (long) instead of square?

Nah sorry mate, I'm in a square mood.

I love the concept but the exposure is a bit bright. I hope that helps

To get this look of no distracting elements, I had to pound the exposure, and it is an effect that was intended, but thank you!
